Getting to know Richie Paxton

Unfortunately i didn't record my talk on Wednesday night so I'm going to do it again. If anyone missed Wednesday night session and wants to join feel free to book on this session. 

Richie will cover:

  • What he found to be the reason behind his addiction .
  • The steps he took to get into recovery.
  • How he needed different things at different time through his journey. 
  • The signs and triggers he still needs to watch out for and how he copes with them now.

About the speaker

Richie was a keen semi-professional footballer before swapping his boots for golf clubs when he got into recovery. He has spent 18 years in the Health and Fitness industry and is passionate about improving people's quality of life and supporting those affected by gambling harm. 

Having spent 18 years battling gambling addiction which also manifested itself into alcohol and drug addiction.  In 2018 Richie found himself at his lowest point and he reached out to Sporting Chance Clinic, who gave him the opportunity to turn his life around. Since then he has been on a journey of personal development and growth.
