Tackling Gambling Stigma

EPIC Community session 

For this event we welcome Alexander and Liz from Tackling Gambling Stigma to come and share about the much need work they are involved in.   

They will talk about:

• The Tackling Gambling Stigma Project – an online resource that shares real life experiences of harm to tackle stigma and discrimination.
• What the project contributors have shared about their experiences of gambling harm.
• The next steps for the project. 
• Opportunities for you all to get involved. 

About the speakers

Alexander is the founder of the organisation Tackling Gambling Stigma and has worked with gambling harm in different capacities for the last 8 years. He has a vast amount of knowledge and experience and cant wait to share that with you. 

Liz is a researcher at Tackling Gambling Stigma and has a PhD in Psychology that focused on in-play sports betting and gambling advertising. Liz is passionate about making a difference and raising the profile of gambling related harm.
