For this EPIC community session we welcome Ross Gardner, who will delivering a session sharing his experience from playing professional football, suffering gambling harm and now been part of football team who are all in recovery.
About the speaker
Ross was one of England's most promising Footballers, until hit by injury at the age of 23 putting an end to his career. Through Ross's time as a professional he played for Newcastle and Nottingham Forrest and also captioned England at a number of age categories including playing in the same team as Wayne Rooney.
He now has his feet firmly in recover and truly believes in 12 step recovery, he is ever present in fellowship meetings and surrounds himself with others on a similar journey.
